God's Plan   -   God's Will

If your belief is wrong.....   Your decisions will be wrong,

then....  Your results will be wrong   !

To get the proper perspective of priorities in your life,

it is important to know.............................

Are you   in God's Plan,

 in God's Will,

  or both  ?

God's Plan for you and all mankind is defined throughout the Bible, but too often, thinking only of His Will, our attention is put on Scriptures which are about what was in His Will ,  sometimes distracting Christians  from seeking His PLAN.

Just for a moment, imagine God saying before Creation

"   This is my Plan ..........."

 but  after  Adams fall  saying

" To accomplish it, in spite of the circumstances,  I need to do ........."

And as man continued in and out of God's Plan,  God's Will to  alter the circumstances as He determined, is seen again and again, in an effort to get man to choose to please Him.

According to Webster's,  a PLAN defines what is  intended .

God intended man to  KNOW, LOVE and SERVE  HIM....in fellowship as a friend Jn15:15

God's Will is   not   always part of  His Plan

sometimes His Will is excercised to get man back into His PLAN!

According to Webster's,  Will is defined as

       1)  a choice or determination of one having Authority or Power

       2) a disposition to act (manipulate circumstances) to accomplish intended end result

We know God's plan in creating man........

       to Fellowship with Him....

        Exhalting Him as Lord....Everlastingly !

Simply put....know  Him,  love  Him,  serve  Him

Anything man does, that is done with an attitude ( heart ) conforming to the above, is in God's Plan

Anything else,   is in God's Will,  man's will,  or the influence of another's will .

Adam started off in God's Plan,    most times Noah was in God's Plan and God's Will,  so was Abraham,   and Moses.          The people of Moses were out of God's Plan, but were in God's Will (He would not allow them to enter the Promised Land)..those over 20 years old would not enter the Promised Land, they weren't just wandering, they were following the cloud, God's cloud.

Saul departed from God's Plan....and the Spirit of God left him.                 Nehemaih was in God's Plan....but the people were not....and their revival was short lived .      Paul became subject to God's Will Acts 9: 1-6 and then sought and followed God's Plan, fellowshipping , serving, and exalting Him, and teaching others about God's Plan.

God's Plan  is for all to have Everlasting Life, and life more abundantly NOW,  but they must choose to be saved, and then continue to choose Rom 6:16  and  8:13 Him as Lord.    He will save those He knows .   It is up to man to choose to know His voice,  because it is only knowing what is expected, that man can please Him.

He knows those who love Him,  and will always rescue them .Ps 91:14

God's Will  is what much of the Church is teaching today...distracting unintentionally from God's Plan .    Much of the Old Testament tells of what He willed....for people out of His Plan .   God's Will often brings Blessings,  but for the most part Blessings follow those in His Plan, or those who return to His Plan. Those few are called the remnant, and even today these principles apply.

God's Will, more often brings discipline...which can  lead to

              blessings through change ,  or

(self) anxiety-no peace,  a withholding of blessings,  a removal of blessings,  physical punishment,  isolation,  and/or death as He wills.

Of course God knows all,  He knows His Plan for you and He knows His Will...it's up to you to understand where you are.....only through the understanding, wisdom of His Holy Spirit, can you know if you are in God's Plan.  The New Covenant is part of His newest plan to accomplish His original Plan.    Focus on Jesus   " For if you wander beyond the teachings of Christ, you will leave God behind; while if you are loyal to Christ's teachings, you will have God too.  Then you will have both the Father and the Son. " 2 Jn 1:9 TLB

Living in God's Plan is not hard !   Jesus said  " my yoke is easy"

Living in God's Will can be unbearable !    read  Saul .... 1Sam16:14  " the Lord God had sent a tormenting spirit..."  TLB

Seek  first , God's Plan..........It's in the Bible

Change your beliefs to match It .

If you think you are in God's WILL,   check to see if you are also in His PLAN,  or is He trying to get you back into His PLAN !

Be sure you Know His PLAN....and test everything you do ,  with THE PLAN .

 ......................................................................................................................................................

Now,      you ask the Holy Spirit if this is not  His message :

"  This is my Plan .....

Create Man to be my friend, to know me,and serve me because  he loves me

For it to mean anything to me ,

he must choose to do this.

So,  I give him the right to choose me in  all things,

or  reject me whenever he wants to.

WHEN  he chooses me. I will bless him

Sometimes...even when he doesn't,

I will bless him anywayPs78:8-16

so he might see I'm a good choice!

Sometimes....when he doesn't choose me

I get jealous...

warn him.........Ps78:41   Rev2:20

Get angry with him......Ps78:59

Punish him.......Ps78:34  Rev2:22

Kill him.......Ps78:62     Rev2:23

In order to accomplish my plan,

in spite of circumstances

caused by man or the evil one

I must make it known..............Jn 15:15   "you are my friends"

and

Sometimes I will manipulate the circumstances

so that MY PLAN is eventually successful....  "
