God's Plan for you and all mankind is defined throughout the Bible, but too often, thinking only of His Will, our attention is put on Scriptures which are about what was in His Will , sometimes distracting Christians from seeking His PLAN.
Just for a moment, imagine God saying before Creation
but after Adams fall saying
And as man continued in and out of God's Plan, God's Will to alter the circumstances as He determined, is seen again and again, in an effort to get man to choose to please Him.
Anything else, is in God's Will, man's will, or the influence of another's will .
Adam started off in God's Plan, most times Noah was in God's Plan and God's Will, so was Abraham, and Moses. The people of Moses were out of God's Plan, but were in God's Will (He would not allow them to enter the Promised Land)..those over 20 years old would not enter the Promised Land, they weren't just wandering, they were following the cloud, God's cloud.
Saul departed from God's Plan....and the Spirit of God left him. Nehemaih was in God's Plan....but the people were not....and their revival was short lived . Paul became subject to God's Will Acts 9: 1-6 and then sought and followed God's Plan, fellowshipping , serving, and exalting Him, and teaching others about God's Plan.
God's Plan is for all to have Everlasting Life, and life more abundantly NOW, but they must choose to be saved, and then continue to choose Rom 6:16 and 8:13 Him as Lord. He will save those He knows . It is up to man to choose to know His voice, because it is only knowing what is expected, that man can please Him.
He knows those who love Him, and will always rescue them .Ps 91:14
God's Will is what much of the Church is teaching today...distracting unintentionally from God's Plan . Much of the Old Testament tells of what He willed....for people out of His Plan . God's Will often brings Blessings, but for the most part Blessings follow those in His Plan, or those who return to His Plan. Those few are called the remnant, and even today these principles apply.
Of course God knows all, He knows His Plan for you and He knows His Will...it's up to you to understand where you are.....only through the understanding, wisdom of His Holy Spirit, can you know if you are in God's Plan. The New Covenant is part of His newest plan to accomplish His original Plan. Focus on Jesus " For if you wander beyond the teachings of Christ, you will leave God behind; while if you are loyal to Christ's teachings, you will have God too. Then you will have both the Father and the Son. " 2 Jn 1:9 TLB
Living in God's Plan is not hard ! Jesus said " my yoke is easy"
Living in God's Will can be unbearable ! read Saul .... 1Sam16:14 " the Lord God had sent a tormenting spirit..." TLB
Seek first , God's Plan..........It's in the Bible
Change your beliefs to match It .
If you think you are in God's WILL, check to see if you are also in His PLAN, or is He trying to get you back into His PLAN !
Be sure you Know His PLAN....and test everything you do , with THE PLAN .
Now, you ask the Holy Spirit if this is not His message :
